AEIOU Foundation – for children with autism has recently secured a major sponsorship with Townsville-based Paradise Outdoor Advertising in a bid to help raise the profile of the children’s charity. The landmark sponsorship deal is one of the largest in AEIOU’s proud ten year history and will see billboards erected in regional Queensland designed to build awareness about their essential services and drive vital donations needed to keep the doors open.
AEIOU have wasted no time in benefiting from the partnership and already have billboards promoting their life-changing program throughout Queensland. AEIOU Foundation CEO, Alan Smith, said the support of Paradise Outdoor Advertising will considerably help AEIOU achieve their strategic goals. “We are proudly celebrating our ten year anniversary this year and securing sponsorship of this size reflects our growing organisation’s community impact … the benefits from the billboards will go a long way in building our awareness in regional Queensland”, Mr Smith said.
The sponsorship is part of Paradise Outdoor Advertising’s Community and Charity Sponsorship Program which is offered each year. Paradise Outdoor Advertising’s CEO Mitch James said assisting such a reputable community organisation will help Paradise Outdoor Advertising achieve its desire to make a lasting difference to their community. “We have been offering the sponsorship for 5 years now and we are really excited to partner with AEIOU. “Our team had the opportunity to visit their early intervention learning centre in Townsville and we saw first-hand the wonderful work the centre is doing with children and their families affected by autism, which is why our team chose to support AEIOU. “Our aim is to assist AEIOU to continue providing their life-changing program and enhance their offering into the future”, Mr James said.
The partnership between the two organisations doesn’t end with the formal agreement; a number of Paradise Outdoor Advertising’s employees have committed to participating in AEIOU’s Take a Hike Townsville on Sunday 14 June by tackling 10.km, 21km or 42km.
AEIOU Foundation is one of Australia’s largest providers of early intervention for children with autism, operating nine centres across Queensland, and its first interstate centre opening in Adelaide last October.
